When I want to try something new, Perfection is always the first to arrive uninvited. Not only does she crash the party, but she also ruins the whole vibe. It was supposed to be something casual, unpretentious, just a hobby. But no, for her, hobbies exist to enhance skills, trying something new means making no mistakes, unpretent-what? That word doesn't exist in her vocabulary.

Just thinking of an idea and there she is in the background, camouflaged, almost invisible, waiting for the right moment to appear and make her greatest contribution: "It's not good enough!" If demotivating me and making me want to give up was her intention, then her success rate is high. I can count on one hand how many things I've continued because of her.

"Relax, done is better than perfect." That's like Romero Britto to her. She wants a Monet, wants to be displayed in the Louvre in place of the Mona Lisa. A level of demand that would drive anyone crazy enough to cut off their ear. But, back to reality, I discovered an infallible technique for dealing with such a narcissistic guest. Ignore.

As soon as I ignored her comments, she lost her party spirit. "I don't like it, I think it could be better," okay, but nobody asked you. "Something's missing, it's not worthy of being displayed in a museum," fine, that wasn't the intention anyway. "Are you sure this is good enough? I think everyone will hate it," great, you can be first in line then.

Ignoring her unfounded and unnecessary comments made her only show up when invited, but being so arrogant, she never receives a formal invitation. Without her input at all hours, my head feels lighter, my fingers don't freeze before touching the brushes. In fact, Mistakes started attending the parties. They're good people, always humble, full of jokes and stories to tell. Oh, and Creativity also became much more comfortable. I thought she was introverted, but actually, she was just avoiding the unwanted party crasher.
